REMARKS: PROBABLY DEAD
SYNOPSIS: William Yarbrough and Pilot Allen Brady were flying an A6A near
Thanh Hoa when their aircraft received Anti-Aircraft Artillery fire damage.
Both ejected, but observers atated that the "streamers" on Yarbrough's
chute did not open. Allen Brady was captured.
William Yarbrough was on the 69 list of PW's per the bracelet organization
"VIVA" (Voices in Vital America). The organization began with family members
of POW and MIAs.
Allen Brady came home on March 14, 1973 after five years in captivity.
On August 14, 1985, William Yarbrough remains were returned to the United
States.
